Minocqua’s Spring Clean-Up Week is usually the first full week in May. All debris must be at the roadside and ready to pick up. Natural lawn and yard debris from the property only. Leaves must be bagged, no limbs or trunks over 6”. Do not pile debris under overhead lines or other obstructions when other options exist. The Town of Minocqua’s Brush Disposal/Compost Site is open on Saturdays from spring through fall. Spring and fall Saturday hours are 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., whereas summer Saturday hours are 8:00 A.M. to Noon. A permit to use the site is required and may be obtained at the Minocqua Town Offices during normal business hours. Proof of Minocqua property ownership will be required. NOTE: These hours are different from those offered in the past; please plan trips accordingly.
Minocqua offers a Christmas tree disposal site where Minocqua residents can drop off their natural Christmas trees after the holidays. The disposal period runs from early to late January. Call the town offices for specific dates: (715) 356-5296.
